Legal Binding
A crucial component of the protocol is the off-chain legal structure that connects the on-chain digital tokens to the real-world asset. This is achieved through a legally binding "Public Corporate Resolution" signed by the shareholders of the legal entity that owns the property. The resolution legally obligates the property-owning entity to distribute all net revenues generated by the asset or by the future sale of asset to the holders of the tokens. This structure is significant as it tokenizes the economic rights tied to the property's performance rather than the direct legal title, providing a flexible framework applicable to various legal ownership forms.
